Our Story
More Than Four Decades Of Serving California
California Heritage Insurance Services traces its roots back to 1982. While our name has evolved over the years, our mission has remained the same: helping families, homeowners, contractors, truckers, and business owners protect what they've worked hard to build.
1982
4 Less Insurance Services was established in Santa Cruz, California, focusing on helping drivers who had difficulty finding insurance coverage.
1996
The agency relocated to California's Central Coast and began building the local relationships that continue to define our business today.
2008
Daniel and Megan Zuniga assumed leadership of the agency and continued growing the family-owned business while maintaining a commitment to personal service and long-term customer relationships.
2010
Del Paso Insurance Services of Paso Robles became part of the agency, expanding our ability to serve North County families and businesses.
2011
JS Hall Insurance Services of Santa Maria joined the organization, further strengthening our presence throughout the Central Coast.
2012
The agencies formally united under the California Heritage Insurance Services name, creating one company with shared standards, expanded carrier access, and a consistent commitment to customer service.
2019
Aaron Corob Insurance clients became part of the California Heritage family, continuing a tradition of serving local communities through trusted relationships.
2020
The agency expanded heavily into commercial trucking insurance and now serves trucking clients across 16 states while continuing to support homeowners, families, contractors, and small businesses throughout California.
2022
Following the passing of longtime friend and respected local insurance professional Armand Berberi, California Heritage continued servicing many of the clients who had trusted him for years.
Today
California Heritage Insurance Services continues to operate as an independent agency serving families, homeowners, contractors, truckers, and business owners. While insurance has changed dramatically over the years, we still believe in providing honest advice, local service, and helping people solve insurance problems in plain English.
